"It’s pretty obvious from the moment you hear Carrie Martin sing that she is an outstanding vocalist with passion in each breath. Don’t be too side-tracked by that voice and stage persona and well crafted songs, because you might just miss the fact that she is a fine guitar player as well!"
Gordon Giltrap

4 piece band playing 100% live: fabulous musicians with great vocal harmonies playing floor-fillers from the 60s. You'll be dancing all night!
#1 Most Booked Party Band of the Year.

This all live 5 piece Country Music band is guaranteed to get the audience’s attention with the great collaboration of vocals, drums, bass, lead guitar and keyboard. The band is fronted by Scotsman Ryan Payling with his extremely strong vocal ability.
The Breeze were awarded band of the year in 2021, 2022 and 2023

Supporting The Breeze is PJ, a highly regarded solo singer / guitarist with a show catering for country music and line dance audiences, playing a range of music from the 50s and 60s, right through to modern country hits. PJ is also teaching the line dancing class during the afternoon before he performs: he is a fully qualified line dance instructor and has been teaching for 30 years.

Folk and acoustic singer & songwriter writing and performing songs about the history and places of North Yorkshire. David will be joined on stage by a number of other talented musicians.
"A singer songwriter who delights audiences with his entertaining and original repertoire. He performs a variety of songs including ballads of times past, hilarious comic numbers and touching love songs. Above all David is an entertainer who leaves audiences wanting more."

A northern acoustic ukulele duo covering a range of genres complete with velvety harmonies and vibrant sounds.

Enjoy a full afternoon Tea accompanied by live vocals from Bev Martin, and then Lynne and Terry will take you down memory lane with dancing to 40's hits with songs form Glenn Miller, Ver Lynn, Andrews Sisters, Benny Goodman and much more.
"Fabulous entertainers. They know how to get a party started (and the dancing going) with a great choice of music and warm and witty banter. A friendly evening of good fun - what more could you ask for?"

A talented group of local teenagers playing fast paced blues rock with psychedelic influences with an essence of Jimi Hendrix. Playing originals along with the odd classic.

Blending modern storytelling with intricate folk guitar, Wounded Bear weaves the old with the new. After touring with Benjamin Francis Leftwich and co-writing New York—covered live by Matt Healy of The 1975—Josh of Wounded Bear returns to his own music, crafting vivid vignettes from the fleeting moments that shape our lives - all against the backdrop of his melodic, Nick Drake-inspired fingerstyle guitar.

An ensemble of players from the award winning and awe inspiring brass band that will move you, energise you and leave you wanting more.
"If Brass Bands were judged on their ability to make the highest quality music, for their community, using musicians from their community, then Kirkbymoorside Band would be one of the finest examples in the world."

Jazz with John Lane & Friends
Bringing a selection of Jazz Standards, Ballads and Swinging Tunes by the likes of Duke Ellington, Fats Waller, Tom Jobim and Hoagy Carmichael, John and Richard will be joined by friends for a relaxed evening of great entertainment.

Supporting Carrie Martin, John Drakes is a star in his own right, performing in many of the region's folk clubs and folk festivals. With influences of Ralph McTell, John writes songs of love and loss, social commentary and environmental issues, thought provoking songs and stories that the audience connected with.
"If a song moves someone, even to tears, then I have done my job", says John.

Moorland Voices
The choir comprises a group of enthusiastic singers who rehearse throughout the year in Appleton-le-Moors Village Hall and perform for a range of charity events, weddings and often sing in local churches.
Members are drawn from Kirkbymoorside and surrounding villages and repertoire is eclectic - from sacred music to shanties and much in between.
